Why do people follow a pillow or cushion in the front of your chest?
I saw people who have (or exhaustive) pillow or a sofa cushion in front of the chest while watching television or sitting in a sofa. What is the psychology or state of mind this kind of situation? Is this a weakness? Upon request, I have heard answers like – "I feel comfortable holding a pillow or cushion."
I do not think one is necessarily a weakness reassuring. Show the person knows instinctively what feels good with them. For me, what can be a force if it is not a type self-destructive behavior. That, I think, hugging a pillow is not. I would say hug a pillow can also be a self-protection. Pillow protects the chest and abdomen, not to let the person feel exposed and vulnerable, physically and emotionally. Feel secure. As a shield to protect the heart and body.
