Lights, camera, action! a Guide to Film Locales in Orlando

Although Central Florida has never quite lived up to their reputation as "Hollywood East," many classic – and very Medicor – movies were shot in the Orlando area in recent years. The list below highlights some of the more notable films that were shot partially or totally in central Florida, as well as a cult movie that provides a link to the Orlando area:

Family [1989] – Directed by Ron Howard, the family introduced Steve Martin, Mary Steenburgen, Jason Robards, Tom Hulce, Joaquin Phoenix, Dianne Wiest and Keanu Reeves.
