Both films are different stories, the film "Company of the State Solid "is a follow-up of the series. I see in this order: Ghost in the Shell (1995) Ghost in the Shell: SAC (2002) Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2nd GIG (2005) Ghost in the Shell: SAC Solid State Company (2006) Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (2004) Watch the original movie, first is just to get to know the characters, and then SSS and the series as they are linked. As to the last film "Innocence," you know all about Ghost in the Shell, and that will make it more enjoyable. You can see the first two movies if you want, no matter because as I said, are two different stories.
